Coordinator Institutional Accreditation and Compliance

We are seeking a qualified candidate with the following minimum qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two (2) years of experience in data analysis, planning and evaluation. Note: Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.

The ideal candidate will possess the following preferred qualifications:

Master's Degree and at least five years professional experience in related field, preferably in higher education. Demonstrated experience in reporting compliance with accreditation standards, including writing effective and articulate responses to standards. Demonstrated experience managing an accreditation reaffirmation process or other similar projects.

The Coordinator Institutional Accreditation and Compliance provides institutional oversight of processes and systems to ensure compliance with institutional and programmatic accreditation standards. This position collaborates with academic departments and programs, educational and administrative support units, campus committees, and other stakeholders to identify, develop, and document data and information that serve as evidence of compliance. The role manages report development, progress monitoring, and quality assurance processes that support ongoing accreditation compliance and continuous improvement. The Institutional Accreditation Manager oversees multiple facets of accreditation requirements review and coordinates with administrators, colleges, faculty, and staff across the institution.

Your key responsibilities will include:

OVERSIGHT AND COMPLIANCE: Maintain an up-to-date understanding of accreditation standards, policies, and reporting requirements from institutional and programmatic accreditors and relevant government agencies. Monitor institutional compliance with accreditation criteria and proactively identify areas needing improvement. Identify accreditation-related trends and gaps to support continuous improvement efforts. Provide training and guidance to faculty and staff on accreditation expectations, evidence collection, assessment, and documentation standards. Support and advise the Institutional Accreditation Liaison on coordinating communications, requests, and required documentation for institutional accrediting bodies.

REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION: Lead the development, writing, editing, and submission of accreditation reports (e.g., self-studies, mid-cycle reviews, annual updates, substantive change requests). Oversee evidence collection and ensure documentation is accurate, current, and aligned with accreditation standards. Maintain organized electronic repositories for evidence, institutional data, and historical accreditation materials. Support programs undergoing specialized or programmatic accreditation. Monitor follow-up actions resulting from accreditation feedback, recommendations, or findings.

ACCREDITATION PROJECT & PROCESS MANAGEMENT: Develop and manage timelines, task lists, and project plans for accreditation activities across the institution. Coordinate cross-functional teams involved in accreditation work, including faculty, administrators, and staff. Manage logistics for site visits, including schedules, materials preparation, and communication with visiting teams. Develop resources and tools (templates, guides, checklists) to support accreditation and assessment work.

COMMUNICATION AND STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT: Communicate accreditation requirements, progress updates, and outcomes to institutional leadership and campus stakeholders. Prepare briefings, summaries, and presentations for internal audiences. Promote a culture of compliance, transparency, and quality assurance.
