Coordinator, Logistics - Skilled

Job Description:
This position involves various aspects of raw material and finished goods handling.
This includes but is not limited to the processing of Domestic and International Sales orders and consolidated shipments to our International Distribution Centers.
Assists Export Coordinator with preparing applicable export documentation for international shipments.
Also provides transactional support to relieve inventory upon shipment within the ERP system

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)
Processing of domestic and international shipments through UPS, FEDEX, and trade management systems.
Identify dangerous goods cargo and handle shipments in strict accordance to IATA and DOT dangerous goods regulations Expedites receiving activities based upon Materials priority listing.
Schedule pickups with freight forwarders for international shipments
Perform manual invoicing of all domestic and international shipments that are processed through freight carrier pick-ups as required.
Resolve product shipment variances; interact with finance and other related areas as necessary, e.g., shipped, not invoiced reporting.
Coordinate international consolidation shipments to International Distribution Centers with freight forwarders/carriers.
Continually seeks process improvements and makes recommendations to management.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
High School Diploma or equivalent is Required for the role

1st shift role - core hours are M-F, 8a-5p, but can be flexible within that range
Will be around hazardous materials (batteries, adhesive) in sealed containers, but will be trained onsite on how to handle them
Will need steel toe/safety shoes, Stryker to provide safety vests
