Job Summary

Job Summary

The Coordinator of Admissions Operations facilitates the admissions and scholarship process by providing support to the document management team while also serving as a backup for other members of the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate high school and college transcripts, test scores, and all other admission documents received.
  • Administer and proctor the Accuplacer exams for incoming and current ULM students.
  • Provide support for ESL testing.
  • Collaborate with staff to improve customer service and processing.
  • Train and serve as primary back-up for document imaging.
  • Train and serve as primary back-up for admission processor.
  • Primary responsibility for hiring, training, and supervising Undergraduate Student Workers and Graduate Assistants to assist with document imaging.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Director of Admissions.

Minimum Qualifications

A bachelor's degree is preferred. The applicant should have excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Banner 9, Perceptive Content, Recruit), communication skills, organizational skills, and analytical ability. The applicant should excel both independently and as a member of a team with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
