Job Overview
Job Summary:
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates nursing care for patients in Child/Adolescent Day Treatment programs. Provides assessment and therapy for patients and their families. Coordinates the patient's plan of care and daily schedule with the treatment team and communicates with the patient's external support system.
Schedule:
Week 1: Monday (7a-3:30p), Tuesday (2p-10:30p), Friday (7a-3:30p), Saturday (7a-3:30p), and Sunday (7a-3:30p) Week 2: Wednesday (2p-10:30p), Thursday (2p-10:30p)
Job Expectations:
Provides clinical and program services to patients and their families
Assesses patient care needs and identifies expected nursing outcomes
Correctly administers medication
Contributes to and monitors therapeutic treatment plan.
Demonstrates the ability to advance evidence based practice by utilizing standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery. Incorporates data and information into practice to continually improve care and practice so that patient outcomes are enhanced.
Promotes a culture of evidence based practice by participation in any of, but not limited to, the following activities:
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served.

Performs other duties as assigned.
