    Primary Purpose:

    Provide leadership, coordination, and oversight for districtwide strategic programs, including school safety and security, state assessment, Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), Career and Technical Education (CTE), College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), and other initiatives assigned by the Assistant Superintendent. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements while supporting continuous improvement efforts that enhance student achievement, district accountability, organizational effectiveness, and operational excellence.

    Qualifications:

    Education/Certification:

    Master's degree in educational administration

    Valid Texas principal certification or equivalent

    Certification or training related to school safety, emergency management, Career and Technical Education (CTE), Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA), or assessment administration (preferred)

    Special Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    Knowledge of Texas Education Agency requirements, accountability systems, state assessment, and applicable federal and state regulations

    Knowledge of school safety, emergency management, Career and Technical Education (CTE), College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR), graduation requirements, and postsecondary pathways

    Knowledge of strategic planning, continuous improvement, and project management principles

    Ability to analyze data and use findings to support decision-making and program improvement

    Strong organizational, project management, problem-solving, and time management skills

    Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and presentation skills

    Ability to lead professional learning, facilitate collaboration, and manage multiple priorities

    Proficiency with Microsoft Office, educational technology platforms, and data management systems

    Experience:

    Minimum of five years of successful experience in public education

    Experience in instructional leadership, program coordination, or campus administration

    Campus or district leadership experience (preferred)

    Experience coordinating state assessment programs (preferred)

    Experience with Texas accountability systems and data analysis (preferred)

    Experience with Career and Technical Education (CTE) and College, Career, and Military Readiness (CCMR) programs (preferred)

    Experience implementing or supporting Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) (preferred)

    Experience coordinating district initiatives or managing multiple programs simultaneously (preferred)

    Major Responsibilities and Duties:

    District Safety and Security

    • Serve as the district Safety and Security Coordinator.
    • Lead the planning, implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of the districtwide safety and security program.
    • Coordinate district emergency preparedness activities, including emergency operations planning, required drills and exercises, safety audits, emergency communication systems, and School Safety Committee activities.
    • Serve as liaison with local law enforcement, emergency management agencies, fire departments, emergency medical services, and other community partners.
    • Monitor weather events and other emergency situations and provide recommendations regarding district operations.
    • Coordinate district emergency communication systems and evaluate their effectiveness.
    • Support implementation of the Guardian Program, Behavioral Threat Assessment process, and other district safety initiatives as assigned.
    • Ensure district compliance with Texas School Safety Center requirements, Senate Bill requirements, and all applicable state and federal regulations.
    • Maintain all required documentation, reports, and records related to school safety and emergency management.

    District Assessment and Accountability

    • Serve as the District Testing Coordinator.
    • Coordinate all local, state, and federal assessment programs, including testing calendars, test security, training, accommodations, implementation, and compliance with TEA requirements.
    • Investigate testing irregularities and ensure required reporting to the Texas Education Agency.
    • Analyze district assessment data and collaborate with instructional leaders to support continuous improvement and student achievement.
    • Maintain all required assessment records, inventories, reports, and compliance documentation.

    Career and Technical Education (CTE) & College, Career, and Military readiness (CCMR)

    • Coordinate and oversee the district Career and Technical Education (CTE) program.
    • Coordinate career exploration, work-based learning, business partnerships, and industry certification opportunities that support student college, career, and military readiness.
    • Coordinate district CCMR initiatives in collaboration with campus administrators, counselors, and instructional staff to strengthen student career pathways and postsecondary readiness.
    • Support the development, implementation, evaluation, and expansion of Programs of Study and innovative course offerings.
    • Manage CTE funding, grants, budgets, and resources while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
    • Analyze CTE and CCMR performance data, prepare required reports, and recommend program improvements to increase student success.

    Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA)

    • Serve as the district Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) Lead.
    • Coordinate implementation and continuous improvement of the district's approved TIA Local Designation System while ensuring compliance with Texas Education Agency requirements.
    • Collaborate with district and campus leadership regarding teacher observations, student growth measures, designation timelines, and data validation.
    • Coordinate communication, training, eligibility, documentation, and compliance activities associated with the district's Teacher Incentive Allotment system.
    • Serve as liaison between the district, Region Education Service Center, and Texas Education Agency regarding TIA implementation and updates.

    Strategic Programs and Continuous Improvement

    • Coordinate district strategic initiatives assigned by the Assistant Superintendent.
    • Assist with implementation and monitoring of district and campus improvement plans.
    • Monitor program implementation, timelines, and performance measures; evaluate effectiveness using data and stakeholder feedback; and recommend continuous improvement strategies.
    • Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for district leadership and the Board of Trustees.
    • Research best practices, legislative changes, grant opportunities, and other initiatives that support district priorities.
