Job Summary

The Coordinator of Student Services directs student health and safety compliance and admissions processes at Mennonite College of Nursing. The role ensures students meet all clinical and regulatory requirements, including immunizations, background checks, drug screenings, and related compliance tracking, while coordinating communication with clinical partners. The role coordinates admissions and readmissions processes, collaborating with university stakeholders to manage application procedures, maintaining accurate communications, and supporting the evaluation and onboarding of qualified students.

The Coordinator of Student Services also provides advising support for a subset of nursing students.

Salary Rate / Pay Rate

$65,000 - $70,000 annual

Required Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in any field.

  2. Five (5) years (60 months) of full-time (or part-time equivalent) professional level experience in higher education in areas such as admission, academic advising, administration, immunization compliance, or closely related area.

  3. Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.

  4. Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master''s degree.

Work Hours

Core hours are Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm.

Functional Expectations

Must be able to complete the following with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  2. Move about in various locations on and off campus as needed to complete day-to-day work

  3. Effectively communicate on a daily basis

The Civil Service examination for this classification is based on your application materials and responses to the supplemental questions. No participation other than submission of applicant materials is required from applicants that qualify to take the exam. If you meet the minimum required qualifications for this position, you will receive a score calculated based on your education and experience, and your name will be placed on the active employment register by exam score. After the application deadline, the names within the top three scores will be referred to the department for interview. The active register for this classification will be voided when the position is filled.
