Coordinator of Teaching and Learning (Focus on Elementary): Lakewood City School District; 2026-27 school year; 204 Day Contract; ODEW Administrative License required; ODEW elementary teaching preferred. Candidate is required to have or secure OTES 2.0 Credentials. Ideal candidates will have demonstrated experience leading professional learning as well as instructional coaching and/or previous administrative experience. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide Professional Development to LCS staff;
  • Diagnostic and prescriptive use of data to promote universal screening and progress monitoring to promote student achievement;
  • Coordinate and collaborate with teachers and building principals in the development of curricular reviews and adoptions;
  • Assist with the coordination of testing and interpreting test results;
  • and Other administrative duties as assigned.

The successful candidate will be a strong visionary leader who will develop relationships with the instructional team to support and engage them in professional learning and practice that will strengthen the educational outcomes of our students. Responsible to the Director of Teaching and Learning K-12 and/or designee.
