The Coordinator of Video Services is responsible for the filming and uploading of coach''s film from practice and games. This position films and edits games and practices for the athletic department, working primarily with football, but works with several other sports as well. This position uploads footage to sharing software and performs day-to-day operations associated with video operations. This position also works with coaching staff to establish schedules and best practices for teams to utilize film.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities for the Coordinator of Video Services include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Capturing and uploading game and practice video for primarily football
  • Filming and editing game and practice videos for various other Towson athletics programs using various capturing and editing systems
  • Hiring students or interns to assist in the completion of duties, as assistance is necessary to effectively perform the duties associated with this position
  • Creating hype/highlight videos for athletics programs, internal use only/pre-game locker room, special events, etc.
  • Video contact for hosting CAA and NCAA events and exchange requirements
  • Performing other duties as assigned

The work hours for this position include nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed. Travel is required.

Qualifications and Skills

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or an equivalent
  • One year of experience filming and editing athletic games and/or practices; or one year of related experience
  • Knowledge of DVSport, Dragonfly, and TeamXStreme

Salary and Benefits

$50,000 annually and a contract that offers annual leave, holidays, and sick days. Contractual employees scheduled to work 30 or more hours per week may be eligible for subsidized health benefits coverage. The position is contingent on funds being available at time of hire.
