Job Summary
The Coordinator, Scholarships oversees the administration and coordination of scholarship programs, ensuring effective stewardship of institutional and externally funded awards. This role manages scholarship processes from award setup through distribution, maintains accurate scholarship records and reporting systems, and supports the integrity of scholarship data. The Coordinator works closely with campus stakeholders, selection committees, and external partners to facilitate scholarship opportunities and award decisions. In addition, the position contributes to the development and launch of new scholarship initiatives, maintains scholarship-related communications and online resources, and provides operational support to enhance student access to financial assistance programs.
Duties
- Coordinates and manages daily scholarship operations, ensuring awards are processed accurately and in accordance with institutional guidelines
- Maintains accurate scholarship records and award data within institutional systems to support reporting, tracking, and administration activities
- Works collaboratively with scholarship committees, campus departments, and outside organizations to administer scholarship awards
- Supports the development and launch of new scholarship programs by assisting with implementation of activities, processes, and communications
Marginal Duties
- Creates and updates scholarship item types in conjunction with Student Business Services to support the effective administration, processing, and tracking of scholarship awards
