The Coordinator, Social Editorial is a member of the Social Media team and is primarily responsible for publishing content to Minor League Baseball's official social media accounts. This role requires the flexibility to be available nights and weekends throughout the year.ResponsibilitiesPublishes content across Minor League Baseball's portfolio of X, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok accountsWorks in tandem with various other verticals of the social media department to ensure best practices are followedWrites and edits captions with the mindset of the messaging coming from the official voice of Minor League BaseballCovers day-to-day baseball storylines as well as works with other segments of the Social Media team to ideate content for jewel eventsWorks to specialize content to fit each individual social media platformExecutes against project plans to ensure timely and accurate completion of assigned tasksCollaborates with manager and stakeholders to support business needsGenerates and provides timely and accurate updates in the form of reports, presentations, etc.Communicates in a clear and concise manner that is easy to understandQualifications & Skills4 year degree from an accredited university in marketing, advertising, communications, business, or related field, OR equivalent relevant experienceDemonstrated ability to exercise good editorial judgmentProficiency in grammar, punctuation, and syntaxExperience working on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and Reddit preferredDemonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmentStrong understanding of baseball (Minor League Baseball, its clubs and players) is essentialInterest and general understanding of prospects & college players who may make an impact in the Minor Leagues/Major Leagues in the futurePay Range$26.00 - $29.00 per hourThe actual offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your work experience, education, skills, and any other factors MLB considers relevant to the hiring decision.#J-18808-Ljbffr
