Job Summary
The Coordinator, Student Information Systems (SIS) is responsible for coordinating and supporting student information system operations, system-related projects, user support services, and business process improvement initiatives. This position serves as a liaison between functional departments, system users, and technical teams to ensure effective communication, data accuracy, successful project implementation, and continuous enhancement of system processes and services. The coordinator supports daily system operations, facilitates user training, manages issue resolution, coordinates testing activities, and assists with projects that improve operational efficiency and stakeholder experience.
Duties
- Serves as the primary point of contact for Student Information System (SIS) inquiries, requests, and support needs, ensuring timely resolution of issues and effective communication with stakeholders
- Leads and coordinates SIS projects, system enhancements, and implementation activities from request through deployment, including requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, project status reporting, risk management, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and final sign-off to ensure successful project outcomes
- Develops, coordinates, and delivers training, communication, and support resources related to system updates, enhancements, and business processes
- Monitors, investigates, and resolves data discrepancies while maintaining the accuracy and integrity of student information records
- Conducts annual reviews of departmental business processes and recommend improvements to enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and service delivery
- Reviews, evaluates, and processes former student profile requests in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications
Education:
Experience:
- Two (2) years of experience in higher education and project management
License/Certification:
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using People Soft-Campus Solutions and Slate application
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge:
- Knowledge in higher education
- Experience with People Soft-Campus Solutions
- Knowledge of Slate
- Understanding of how to use Excel
- Understanding of how to use Smartsheets
