Coordinator, Student Wellness (Internal)

Job Summary/Basic Functions

Reporting to the Assistant Director of Fitness and Wellness in Campus Recreation, the Coordinator coordinates and facilitates student wellness programming, including promoting healthy relationship behaviors and interpersonal violence prevention training and education. This person will sustain meaningful and intentional engagement with students and will collaborate with student leaders to advance student wellness initiatives on campus. The Coordinator will create and implement initiatives that promote healthy interpersonal relationships and raise awareness about interpersonal and domestic violence, including intervention and prevention strategies. The Coordinator will connect EKU students to local and national advocacy resources that support student well-being, including resources to support students experiencing interpersonal and domestic violence. The Coordinator will connect with campus and community partners to provide robust student wellness resources on campus. The Coordinator will collaborate with partners across campus to ensure all training compliance and metrics are met and will oversee the successful completion of all university requirements related to student wellness. Finally, the coordinator will perform operational duties for the success of student wellness initiatives, including communications, data management and analysis, scheduling, organization, and coordinating of activities.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience: Minimum of one year of work experience in higher education, business, customer service, administration or related field is required.

Job Duties:

• 60% - Develop, coordinate and facilitate student wellness programming and educational efforts for University students, faculty and staff. Create and facilitate campus-wide programming to support a campus culture of interpersonal violence awareness and violence prevention. Maintain excellent public relations with internal and external constituents and create professional and accurate reports, presentations, and documents. - ()
• 20% - In collaboration with campus partners, provide direct support for students experiencing interpersonal violence Connect with campus and community partners to provide support to students who have or are experiencing sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking. - ()
• 10% - Support student retention efforts by providing case-management, organization, advisorship, and expertise to ensure students are connected to and supported by campus and community wellness initiatives. - ()
• 5% - Manage attendance, assessment, and data tracking for student wellness initiatives. - ()
• 5% - Other duties as assigned. - ()
