The Opportunity

We’re looking for a reliable and technically inclined Copier Help Desk Specialist to support our customers and internal teams with copier, printer, and multifunction device issues. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, solving problems quickly, and delivering strong customer service in a fast-paced environment.


KeyResponsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support for copiers, printers, and multifunction devices via phone, email, or ticketing system

  • Diagnose and resolve common hardware, software, and connectivity issues

  • Guide users through step-by-step troubleshooting and basic maintenance

  • Escalate complex issues to field technicians or senior support staff when necessary

  • Track, document, and update support tickets accurately

  • Assist with device setup, driver installation, and network configuration

  • Maintain knowledge of supported copier models, firmware updates, and best practices

  • Deliver clear, professional communication to both technical and non-technical users

  • Consistent reporting to leadership


Experience/Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or technical certification preferred)

  • 2+ year of help desk, IT support, or copier/printer support experience (preferred)

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addresses, drivers, print queues)

  • Experience with eAutomate and FMAudit

  • Experience with Xerox and Kyocera (preferred)

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong team communication competencies

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

  • Customer-focused mindset with a professional demeanor

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with multifunction printers/copiers (e.g., setup, maintenance, troubleshooting)

  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools (eAutomate, FMAudit, XPPS)

  • Basic knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments

  • Experience in managed print services (MPS) environments
