Job Description
Core Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
- Provide assistance with transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques
- Support residents with meals, including setup, feeding assistance as needed, and monitoring intake
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing or supervisory staff
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests
- Documentation & Communication
- Accurately document care services provided
- Communicate effectively with residents, and team members
- Maintain resident confidentiality and comply with HIPAA guidelines
Preferred
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification
- Previous experience in assisted living, long-term care, or home health
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and assist with resident transfers
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary starting at $17.00 per hour
