SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

The Receiving Clerk position is a role within the Material Control Department responsible for receiving shipments of products inbound from Italy and North America. This role will be responsible for processing information, maintaining an accurate record of all transactions, inspecting goods, and ensuring the efficient handling and organization of received goods. This position may also be called upon to support other departments within material control functions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

RECEIVING

  • Assist in the management of storage and use of materials to improve inventory accuracy.
  • Receive and check incoming packing slips or invoices of received goods.
  • Locate products using technology. Scan received shipment into Chrome Hearts tracking tool.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all actions/conversations/issues through workflow tools.
  • Once items have been received and verified, scan signed receipts to the Accounting Dept to further process vendor invoices.
  • Keep records of completed orders.

GENERAL

  • Adhere to health and safety policies and quality standards.
  • Maintain a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive routine.
  • Setup and/or breakdown of workstations, including proper cleaning.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, orderly, and accessible work area and follow safety protocols.
  • Meets merchandise processing standards.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • HighSchooldiplomaorequivalentis preferred.
  • Minimum1-2yearsofReceiving experience.
  • Experiencewithpalletsjacksandotherwarehouse equipment.
  • ForkliftExperience required.
  • Abletoreadandwritein English.
  • Diligentand punctual.
  • Candidatesareexpectedtolearnallresponsibilitiesinanadequatetime frame.
  • Mustbeabletoworkwellwithothersandhaveexcellentcommunication skills.
  • Abilitytohandleaphysical workload.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods of time, some walking. Employees are regularly required to talk and/or hear. Employees will be expected to repeat much of the physical motions throughout the shift that may include use of their feet, legs, arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. This work will involve a variety of hand operations requiring a high degree of manual dexterity and close visual attention. The employee must be able to carry and/or lift up to 50 lbs. if needed.

20.00 - 23.00 USD per hour (Hollywood, CA)
