We"re seeking a strategic, AI-first, customer-obsessed Copywriter who writes with purpose and brings clarity, craft, and consistency to every brand touchpoint. You"ll work directly with the Creative Director, Art Director partners, fellow Copywriters and cross-functional leaders to concept, develop, and execute full-funnel campaigns that drive both brand love and business results for Blink smart security.

You"ll write across every stage of the funnel, bringing Blink"s voice to life through compelling copy that moves customers to action. Strong, prolific executional copywriting is paramount to this role. You"ll also serve as a steward of Blink"s brand voice as it continues to grow within the Amazon Devices portfolio, ensuring consistency and quality across every piece of work you touch.

We need someone who can translate complex product benefits into emotionally resonant stories that make people feel more confident and connected to home. You understand the nuances of consumer tech messaging and can protect Blink"s approachable, reassuring tone of voice whether you"re concepting a brand campaign, shaping a product launch narrative, developing subscription content that drives acquisition and retention, or refining in-market detail pages.

This role requires previous use of Figma, as well as AI fluency in tools like Jasper, Claude, ChatGPT, and proprietary AI tools to accelerate ideation, optimize messaging, generate personalized content at scale, and test variations, all while protecting Blink"s brand integrity and voice.

Key job responsibilities

Write copy across 360-degree campaigns and promotional moments: paid media, email, SMS, social, retail, web, PDPs, packaging, and emerging channels

Execute creative copy from brief through final asset, ensuring messaging ladders up strategically across every funnel stage and aligns with brand and business objectives

Develop product marketing copy that drives conversion and effectively communicates Blink"s value propositions across the full product portfolio

Create subscription-focused content that drives acquisition and retention

Partner closely with designers, art directors, and production teams to concept integrated work where copy and visuals work together seamlessly

Leverage AI-powered tools for ideation, drafting, optimization, personalization, and content generation at scale while maintaining brand voice and originality

Support cross-channel experimentation and testing frameworks across the creative team, making data-driven decisions to optimize content

Partner closely with Product, Product Marketing, Project Management, Design, Production, and Amazon.com teams to translate product innovation into compelling consumer stories and messaging frameworks

Translate technical specs into benefits that resonate with target audiences, bringing clarity to complex smart home and security technology

Present work confidently and defend strategic choices with clarity

Craft messaging that differentiates Blink in an increasingly crowded smart home security space

Balance sales-driving urgency with customer obsession and long-term brand building

Maintain Blink"s brand voice, tone guidelines, and messaging architecture across all communications

Use performance data and customer insights to inform creative decisions and optimize messaging

About the Company

Amazon.com Inc

At Amazon, we don’t wait for the next big idea to present itself. We envision the shape of impossible things and then we boldly make them reality. So far, this mindset has helped us achieve some incredible things. Let’s build new systems, challenge the status quo, and design the world we want to live in. We believe the work you do here will be the best work of your life.

Wherever you are in your career exploration, Amazon likely has an opportunity for you. Our research scientists and engineers shape the future of natural language understanding with Alexa. Fulfillment center associates around the globe send customer orders from our warehouses to doorsteps. Product managers set feature requirements, strategy, and marketing messages for brand new customer experiences. And as we grow, we’ll add jobs that haven’t been invented yet.

It’s Always Day 1
At Amazon, it’s always “Day 1.” Now, what does this mean and why does it matter? It means that our approach remains the same as it was on Amazon’s very first day – to make smart, fast decisions, stay nimble, invent, and stay focused on delighting our customers. In our 2016 shareholder letter, Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos shared his thoughts on how to keep up a Day 1 company mindset. “Staying in Day 1 requires you to experiment patiently, accept failures, plant seeds, protect saplings, and double down when you see customer delight,” he wrote. “A customer-obsessed culture best creates the conditions where all of that can happen.” You can read the full letter here

Our Leadership Principles
Our Leadership Principles help us keep a Day 1 mentality. They aren’t just a pretty inspirational wall hanging. Amazonians use them, every day, whether they’re discussing ideas for new projects, deciding on the best solution for a customer’s problem, or interviewing candidates.
