Job Summary
As the Copywriter, you will define and lead L'Occitane product and marketing copy across platforms in the US and CANADA. The main responsibilities include but are not limited to writing product copy and writing copy for creative materials (email, direct mail, social media, POS, packaging) to create a highly engaged North American customer. This highly creative and detail-oriented position requires strong operational and communication skills to work closely with many different teams internally.
Job Responsibilities
Brand Voice & Copy Creation:
Solidify brand voice and tone, and ensure all copy is unified within the brand voice guidelines
Write copy that brings products and L'Occitane brand to life for all channels, including social media, e-mail, website, in-store, editorial, training, and other on- and offline formats
Collaborate with product, campaign, social, digital and CRM teams across platforms for tight brand positioning and consistent voice
Strategize with omni-channel marketing, digital marketing, CRM, visual and retail teams to ensure copy meets needs of and is adaptable to all customer touchpoints
Collaborate with global marketing at pre-launch stage to influence packaging copy
Plan and execute a calendar of local copy development to deliver product copy, long and short taglines and communication strategy for all new launches.
Regulatory Review:
Collaborate with local regulatory team to ensure copy is within local legal parameters
Liaise with Product Launch team and Regulatory to anticipate regulatory concerns and request information from the lab as needed to ensure compelling copy can be approved
Competitive Insights:
Research and share with content stakeholders latest beauty industry copy innovation, cultural trends and linguistic styles

What We Offer
The compensation for this role ranges from $75,000 - $85,000. Exact compensation will vary based on factors including but not limited to, experience, skills and geographic location. In addition to annual salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly competitive bonus program.
