Copywriter

Title: Copywriter
Location: Richmond, Mclean, NYC, and Chicago – hybrid.
Duration: 5 months – Possibility to extend and covert.
Salary Range: $30-40/hr on W2

Introduction
The team supports digital acquisition experiences, including ads on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and other channels that direct users to custom landing pages providing an overview of the company or credit cards and guide them into the application flow. The team is looking to expand copywriting resources to meet increasing demands and scale effectively.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
At least 2 years of copywriting or creative writing experience
At least 2 years of experience creating content for digital products or UX environments
Experience in B2C, Performance, Digital or Direct Response marketing
Experience in the financial services industry - IMPORTANT
Designing for cross-channel experiences
Comfortable working with Product and Tech partners
Familiarity with working and contributing to an established design system
Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
Experience in web content, especially valuable
Backgrounds in financial services or healthcare
Acquisition focus experience
Ex Cap one is nice to have

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Support BAU work across landing pages and shopping acquisition pages
Test headlines and subheads, develop content strategy for full pages
Contribute to broader redesign efforts and smaller incremental creative testing
Collaborate with UI and UX designers, work independently
Work with a diverse group of stakeholders
Present work to partners who own various segments of the website
Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to ensure content approval and workflow efficiency
