The Copywriterisresponsible for the specific duties listed below.

Your specific duties will include:
  • Develop compelling, member-focused copy for a variety of marketing channels, including brochures, website content, lending buying guides, blogs, email campaigns, and digital collateral.
  • Write and manage an average of 12 member email campaigns per month, ensuring messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with organizational goals.
  • Create educational and promotional content that supports financial products, services, fraud prevention initiatives, and member engagement.
  • Develop website copy for new and existing products, services, and informational pages while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Produce lending-related buying guides and educational content that simplify complex financial topics for members.
  • Collaborate directly with business units and subject matter experts to gather information, develop content, and deliver projects without requiring intermediary marketing support.
  • Edit and proofread marketing and member-facing materials, including letters, brochures, flyers, videos, and other communications, ensuring accuracy, consistency, grammar, and compliance.
  • Ensure all written materials adhere to brand standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational style guidelines.
Required qualifications for the position include :
  • Minimum of 7 years of professional copywriting experience within a credit union or banking environment. Direct financial institution experience is required.
  • Demonstrated expertise in copywriting, copyediting, and proofreading across a variety of marketing channels, including digital, print, email, and web content.
  • Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, engaging, member-focused messaging.
  • Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to produce accurate, high-quality work while meeting established deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and content management or collaborative editing tools.
Preferred qualifications for the position include :
  • Experience writing content for consumer banking products, lending, deposit accounts, fraud prevention, financial education, and member communications.
  • Experience developing website content, blogs, email campaigns, brochures, buying guides, and other marketing collateral.
  • Familiarity with financial industry compliance requirements and regulatory review processes for marketing communications.
  • Experience collaborating directly with cross-functional business partners, including lending, operations, compliance, and product teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced marketing environment supporting multiple stakeholders and concurrent projects.
Pay Rate Range: $35.00 - $55.00 an hour

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and location. Employees have access to healthcare benefits, including medical, dental, and vision as well as a 401(k) plan.
