In this vital role, youll help ensure the integrity of our cores by meticulously removing blemishes and imperfections, supporting our commitment to excellence.
What Youll Do:
- Precisely remove blemishes, flash, and surface defects from cores using a variety of hand tools.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify imperfections, ensuring each core meets quality standards.
- Perform daily filing activities at a dedicated cleaning station with a steady hand and keen eye for detail.
- Safely operate a manual pallet jack to handle and position cores efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.
- Regularly stand at your station, bending, reaching, and twisting as needed to complete tasks comfortably.
- Support continuous improvement by adhering to standardized procedures and safety protocols.
What Were Looking For:
- Strong attention to detail with an exceptional eye for precision.
- Ability to read and interpret basic written instructions and processes.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive motions, and lift up to 30 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a foundry environment with exposure to fumes, airborne particles, noise, and varying weather conditions.
- Reliability with regular and dependable attendance.
- Prior experience in a production or assembly environment is preferred.
