Introduction
The State of Connecticut, Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) is seeking a dynamic professional with expertise in both business and technology for the position of Core-CT EPM Information Technology Analyst 2. The Core-CT division oversees the State of Connecticuts PeopleSoft-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This position requires a strong foundation in state financial and HR policy and business practices, along with experience in Oracle PeopleSoft and a solid understanding of ERP systems and integrations.

The Office of the State Comptroller (OSC) is an agency whose mission is to provide accounting and financial services, administer employee and retiree benefits, develop accounting policy and exercise accounting oversight, and prepare financial reports for the state, federal and municipal governments, as well as the public.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Six (6) years of experience in information technology (IT) operations, programming, systems/software development or another IT-related support area.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - SPECIAL EXPERIENCE
One (1) year of the General Experience must have been performing professional information technology work in such areas as: installation and support of microcomputer hardware, software and operating systems; analysis, design and development of information systems; network hardware and software installation and support; network hardware and/or software problem diagnosis and resolution; performing any closely related professional IT function.
NOTE: For state employees this experience is interpreted at the level of an Information Technology Analyst 1.
