A Typical Day The Senior Core Non-Default Specialist is primarily responsible for creating and refining business requirements and managing high profile projects and vendors. As the Senior Specialist, you will perform QA/QC, research complex issues, ensure procedures and policies are current, provide assistance and train co-workers. The Senior Core Non-Default Specialist will: Make business process recommendations and implements changes across the department as appropriate Independently create department wide communication, plans and implementations Perform department in-line QC and prepare/present quality and performance metrics to management Analyze QC results and drive cross departmental remediation efforts Implement processes that assist with the increase of quality and production metrics Perform other related duties as required and assigned Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization's desired culture and values What You'll Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience 5+ years of relevant work experience Loan Boarding experience Strong Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Ability to create databases and query data is a plus Strong mortgage non-default servicing experience required Why You Should Join As one of the top mortgage lenders in the country, Pennymac has helped over 4 million lifetime homeowners achieve and sustain their aspirations of home.
