Job Title: Core Thermal Hydraulics Engineer

Compensation: $69.00 - $115.00 per hour

Responsibilities
+ Perform thermal-hydraulics analysis using in-house subchannel software to evaluate reactor core scenarios and support safety design parameters
+ Develop and verify calculation products in accordance with the company's quality assurance policies and procedures
+ Deliver complete and accurate analytical reports and deliverables, ensuring compliance with performance guarantees, specifications, and legal requirements
+ Support the test program and contribute to methodology development and analysis for the sodium-cooled Natrium Reactor project
+ Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate analysis results clearly, and uphold high standards of trust, integrity, and teamwork
Requirements
+ B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or relevant Engineering from an accredited university
+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 8+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D. degree, demonstrating high-quality work
+ Extensive experience in nuclear systems thermal-hydraulic behavior and analyses
+ Proficiency in advanced liquid metal-cooled nuclear reactor core design and analysis software (e.g., SE2-ANL, COBRA, VIPRE)
+ Strong understanding of uncertainty quantification, verification and validation techniques
+ Excellent communication skills and a high degree of trust and integrity
