Core Welder

Our client, Industrial Filter Manufacturers is seeking a Core Welder to join their team. As a Core Welder, you will be part of the Welding team supporting Production. The ideal candidate will have good communication, strong work ethics and time management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Core Welder

Location:IN, Evansville, 10244 Hedden Rd, ()

Pay Range: 16hr

What’s the Job?

• Prepares flat precut metal sheeting into appropriate core/frame shapes using manual and electronic rollers and other molding devices
• Assembles rolled frames/cores via a combination of bolts, clamps, tack welds, and mig welds
• Measures completed core to verify it is in conformance of the work order before moving to the next stage in production process
• Marks bending and cut lines to the product per assigned specs

What’s Needed?

• 1+ year of related experience
• Knowledge of mig and tack welding required, weld test required
• Ability to read blueprints/work orders
• Must be able to read a tape measure and pass a tape measure test
• Continuous standing and movement with 50 lbs of lifting
