Position Summary:
JSSI Parts & Leasing (JPL) maintains an inventory of 75,000 stock lines in support of JSSI's Hourly Cost Maintenance Programs, Supply Chain Solution customers, and third-party clients. The Cores Administrator is responsible for managing all core return activity for both internal and third-party customers. This position is based at our Erlanger, KY warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Generate and analyze open-core reports using AvSight and Salesforce.
    • Track vendor core returns through vendor web portals, following up to avoid vendor late fees.  
    • Prepare core return documentation
    • Follow up with internal and external customers to ensure timely returns or cores and RMA (Returned Material Authorization) units. 
    • Partner with the Sales and Accounting teams to bill late or non-returned cores.
    • Maintain accurate, up-to-date notes and status records within relevant systems.
    • Ensure all transactions are properly closed out in AvSight and Salesforce and in the vendor portals. 
    • Provide regular status updates to management on core activity
    • Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen core return operations.
    • Bill out late fees and unreturned core fees to customers.
    • Perform root cause analysis and trend analysis on late core returns.
    • Manage follow-up on warranty requests and RMAs.
    • Serve as backup to the Repair Coordinator, including:
      • Creating repair orders for stock items
      • Following up on open repairs
      • Reviewing vendor quotes
    • Travel domestically as needed (approximately 10–15 days annually)
    • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the aviation industry
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Aviation, Engineering, or a related field
  • Familiarity with AvSight
  • Experience within business aviation
  • Working knowledge of airframe and powerplant systems

For this role, the annual base pay generally ranges from $65,000 to $75,000, with the final offer determined by variable factors including but not limited to market location, job-specific knowledge, skills, education, and experience. In addition, your total rewards package may include an annual discretionary bonus plan, incentive or sales bonus plan, or other form of additional compensation, based on your role.
