We create quality, affordable homes and engage with our residents to foster a strong sense of community and connection.Join us in making a difference in people's lives every day at a company where you can challenge yourself to develop both personally and professionally.Position SummaryThe Corporate Accountant I position is responsible for general ledger coding, journal entries, account reconciliation and analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting for the Management Company. This role also supports the enterprise reporting team and is responsible for pulling financial reports, populating reconciliations and trends, and analysis as needed.Essential FunctionsRecord and code all transactions in the Management Company's operating accountAssist in processing and recording deposits for Dominium entitiesPrepare and review intercompany payables for accuracyPrepare balance sheet account reconciliations and assist in resolving variancesAdminister the Management Company's US Bank corporate card program, assist with all US Bank corporate card questions, respond to email inquiries, review extracts for users' coding accuracy and preparing journal entriesPrepare month-end journal entries, including billbacksPull enterprise financial reports from the accounting systemPopulate enterprise reconciliations and trendsAd hoc projects and questionsOther duties as assignedTimely and regular attendanceQualifications4-year Accounting degree or 2 year degree with applicable years of experienceGood verbal and written communication in EnglishProficient Microsoft Office skillsYardi or other accounting software experience preferredProblem solving skills are requiredPay: $68,000/year + 5% bonus eligibilityAbout UsDominium is a purpose-driven leader in affordable housing.
