    The Corporate Accountant Senior ensures timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. . With minimal oversight, this job reconciles the organization's accounts and records (balance sheet, profit and loss, and bank accounts). The Corporate Accountant Senior works closely with business areas on the ledger processing, and leads the accounting team in updating, maintaining, and documenting new accounting guidance that impacts the organization.

     


    Essential Job Function:

    • Oversees the preparation of balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports in accordance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
    • Reviews journal entries and account reconciliations in accordance with all relevant regulations, laws, and reporting requirements.
    • Monitors the performance of monthly and quarterly close and consolidation processes based on to ensure timely completion and accuracy.
    • Facilitates the maintenance of accounting statements, reports, GL accounts, cost revenue reports, balance sheets, and / or bank statement reconciliations in order to ensure smooth functioning of Accounting processes.
    • Ensures the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records including detailing financial business transactions (eg, invoice approvals, disbursements, expense vouchers, and wire payments).
    • Mentors and develops accounting staff to promote professional development and maximize individual contributions.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.


    Education:

    • Required: Bachelor's Degree


    Experience:

    • Required: 6+ Years
