About the RoleWe are looking for a strong individual contributor to manage the accounting execution for Cloud, Generative AI, and technology services, alongside broader general ledger responsibilities. The role partners closely with Technical Accounting and FP&A to ensure proper application of accounting guidance. This position also supports general ledger activities, including intercompany accounting, and plays a key role in audit support and the execution of internal controls.What You Will DoReview Cloud, Generative AI, and technology service contracts and apply established accounting policies in accordance with US GAAP and internal guidance.Leverage contract AI capabilities to extract, summarize, and review cloud and technology services contracts, accelerating review cycles and reducing manual effort.Own Cloud-related balance sheet accounts, including preparing and posting related journal entries, performing flux analysis, and reconciling accounts; monitor Cloud spend, financial performance, and indicators that may require impairment consideration; maintain accuracy, completeness, and timeliness throughout the process.Prepare executive reporting packages for Cloud spend and performance, including analysis of trends, key drivers, and risks.Record intercompany transactions and perform related reconciliations, and resolve out‑of‑balance items.Manage the accounting for Goodwill and Intangible assets; maintain amortization schedules in alignment with established useful life policies; perform and document annual impairment assessments in accordance with ASC 350.Support audit requests by ensuring timely delivery of supporting schedules and audit‑ready work papers for internal and external auditors.Identify and drive process improvements and accounting transformation initiatives to improve scalability, efficiency, and productivity.What You Need to SucceedBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.4–6 years of experience in corporate accounting or public accounting.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.Proficiency in ERP and accounting systems including SAP and BlackLine.Advanced Excel skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement approach.Collaborative teammate who can also work independently with minimal supervision.Preferred QualificationsCPA license or active CPA candidate.Experience with intercompany transactions, consolidation, and multi‑entity reporting.Familiarity with SOX compliance and internal control frameworks.Public accounting background (Big 4 or regional firm).Expected Pay RangeOur compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $74,500 – $150,300 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
