Direct Counsel represents an AmLaw firm seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join its Corporate & Securities practice. This team advises innovative companies across technology and life sciences on sophisticated corporate transactions and business matters.
Responsibilities
Advise private companies on general corporate matters
Support and manage venture financing transactions
Handle private equity transactions
Assist with private company mergers and acquisitions
Work collaboratively with clients and internal teams on strategic business initiatives
Qualifications
J.D. with strong academic credentials
4–6 years of corporate transactional experience in one or more of the following:
Venture financings
Private equity
General corporate representation of private companies
Private company mergers & acquisitions
Strong communication, drafting, and interpersonal skills
Team-oriented mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $310,000–$390,000 based on experience
