A highly respected law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate Attorney to join its Cleveland office.
This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private companies, public companies, private equity sponsors, investors, and entrepreneurs in sophisticated corporate transactions.
• 2+ years of corporate transactional experience
• Experience with mergers & acquisitions, corporate governance, joint ventures, and general corporate matters preferred
• Experience representing private companies, public companies, private equity sponsors, investors, or financial institutions
• Experience drafting and negotiating purchase agreements, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and other transaction documents
• Experience managing due diligence processes and transaction workstreams
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
• Ability to work directly with clients and transaction teams
• Excellent academic credentials
• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required
• Ohio bar admission required or ability to become admitted
