The practice offers exposure to dynamic industries where regulatory complexity meets strategic growth, creating a compelling environment for associates who enjoy both technical rigor and commercial problem‑solving.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft and negotiate acquisition agreements and related M&A transaction documentsPrepare and negotiate governing documents, including bylaws, operating agreements, and partnership agreementsManage core aspects of transactions with increasing independenceCoordinate and oversee due diligence processesSupervise and mentor junior attorneysWork directly with private equity funds, independent sponsors, portfolio companies, and founder‑owned businessesThis role is designed for an associate ready to take ownership of meaningful components of transactions while continuing to build toward senior‑level responsibility.What We're Looking For3–4 years of experience handling M&A and corporate transactions within a law firmExperience representing private equity funds, sponsors, portfolio companies, or founder‑led businessesStrong drafting and negotiation skillsDemonstrated ability to manage deal processes and collaborate within cross‑functional teamsAdmission to the Colorado Bar (or ability to obtain promptly)A JD is required, along with prior experience working in a law firmCandidates should bring sound judgment, attention to detail, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
