Our AmLaw 100 client is adding a Corporate Associate to its Seattle office. This team represents founders, venture -backed companies, and investors across the technology and life sciences sectors. The work sits at the center of the startup ecosystem, advising companies from formation through financing and exit.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

<\/p>
Role Summary<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>You will work closely with founders, executive teams, and venture investors across the full company life cycle. The practice includes advising emerging growth companies on day -to -day corporate matters, negotiating venture financings, and guiding strategic transactions.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

<\/p>
Expect hands -on involvement with:<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Venture and growth equity financings<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• M&A and strategic acquisitions<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Corporate governance and outside general counsel work<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Direct interaction with founders, investors, and management teams<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

The broader platform is widely recognized for representing leading technology and life sciences companies and the investors that fund them, with a long track record advising venture -backed businesses through major financings, IPOs, and exits.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Candidate Profile<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>• 4–6 years of corporate experience at a major law firm<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Background in venture capital, emerging companies, M&A, private equity, or capital markets<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Experience advising high -growth companies or venture investors<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>
• Interest in technology and life sciences companies and the startup ecosystem<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/div>

Compensation range: $310,000 – $390,000, based on class year, plus discretionary bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
