Position Overview
Day Pitneys Corporate & Business Law Department is seeking a highly motivated associate with 2-4 years of corporate transactional experience to join our growing team in the Boston, Massachusetts office.
Candidates should have experience in a broad range of corporate and securities matters, including:
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Private equity transactions
- Debt and equity financings
- Venture capital financings
- Strategic joint ventures
- Capital markets transactions
- Corporate governance
- Licensing matters
- General corporate transactional matters
Ideal candidates will have experience drafting and negotiating transaction documents, including disclosure schedules, asset purchase agreements, operating agreements, and stock purchase agreements.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on sophisticated and challenging matters in a collaborative and team-oriented environment.
Hybrid Work Environment

Requirements
- 2-4 years of corporate transactional experience
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- Strong technical, professional, and client service skills
- Strong legal research and transactional analysis skills
- Proven ability to manage complex matters with attention to detail and efficiency
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Massachusetts bar admission in good standing is required
