A well-established, multi-office law firm is seeking an experienced corporate attorney at the Counsel or junior partner level to join its growing corporate practice in the Mid-Atlantic region.
This role is ideal for an attorney who can independently manage a wide range of corporate matters while serving as a trusted advisor to business clients. The position involves a mix of outside general counsel work, transactional matters, and ongoing client advisory responsibilities.
Open to candidates in the Baltimore and Central Maryland Region.
Serve as outside counsel to privately held companies and business owners on day-to-day legal matters
Manage corporate transactions from initial structuring through closing
Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts and transaction documents
Advise clients on corporate governance, entity structuring, and operational legal issues
Collaborate with attorneys across practice groups to support client needs
Maintain and develop client relationships, with opportunities to expand an existing practice
Approximately 7–12+ years of corporate legal experience
Experience handling both transactional work and ongoing corporate advisory matters
Ability to independently manage client matters and provide practical legal guidance
Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Demonstrated interest in client development and practice growth
