The successful candidate will possess the expertise and dedication to handle a wide range of corporate matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, and entity formation. This role offers the opportunity to work autonomously, lead teams, and take on significant responsibility within a collegial environment.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal advice on a broad array of corporate matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, and entity formation.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and other legal documents.
  • Handle client interaction and provide exceptional client service.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and offer well-informed legal advice to clients.
  • Manage and lead teams, ensuring deliverables are met within stipulated timelines.
  • Take on significant responsibility, demonstrating a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
  • Participate in business development training to aid in the firm's growth.
  • Assist with legal compliance and provide legal assistance on various legal issues.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within a law firm environment.
  • Proficient in acquisitions, divestitures, debt offerings, equity offerings, restructurings, entity formation, and other corporate matters.
  • Exceptional drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Proven experience in client interaction and providing superior client service.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead teams.
  • Experience in business development training is a plus.
  • Excellent legal writing and research skills.
  • Ability to provide sound legal advice and prepare legal documents.
  • Familiarity with legal issues and providing legal assistance.
  • Knowledge of legal compliance is essential.
