Summary
The Corporate C&I Banker is a senior-level relationship manager responsible for developing, managing, and expanding a portfolio of complex commercial and industrial (C&I) banking relationships. This position serves as a trusted financial advisor to middle-market and privately held businesses by delivering customized lending, deposit, treasury management, and other financial solutions. The Corporate Banker is expected to generate significant loan and deposit growth while maintaining strong credit quality and adherence to the Bank's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Specific Job Functions
Business Development & Relationship Management
Credit Underwriting & Portfolio Management
Structure, negotiate, and originate complex commercial loan transactions including:
Lines of Credit
Working Capital Facilities
Equipment Financing
Owner-Occupied Real Estate Loans
Acquisition Financing
SBA Loans (when applicable)
Other Commercial Credit Facilities
Analyze financial statements, tax returns, cash flow projections, collateral valuations, and industry trends to assess credit risk.
Prepare and present credit requests and relationship strategies to credit administration and loan committees.
Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify emerging credit concerns.
Ensure loan relationships remain in compliance with applicable covenants, policies, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain acceptable loan quality metrics, past due levels, and exception reporting standards.
