Corporate & Commercial Transactions Associate

Seeking a Corporate & Commercial Transactions Associate with 2–3 years of experience to join its growing Corporate and Strategic Transactions practice.

The ideal candidate will have experience supporting mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, commercial contracting, and related business matters. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced transactional attorneys while gaining increasing responsibility and direct exposure to sophisticated business transactions and client matters. We are seeking an attorney who can immediately contribute to the practice by assisting with transaction management, due diligence, drafting, and client service. The successful candidate will become an important part of the firm's long-term growth strategy and help strengthen the depth and continuity of our transactional team.

Qualifications:

• 2–3 years of experience in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, or a related practice area.
• Experience drafting and reviewing commercial contracts and ancillary transaction documents.
• Strong written, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a collaborative team environment.
• Desire to develop client-facing skills and grow within a sophisticated corporate transactions practice.

Compensation: The anticipated annual salary for this position starts at $130,000. Compensation is geographically dependent and will vary based on the candidate's location, experience, qualifications, and demonstrated transactional expertise. Candidates based in the Albany market and those working in a hybrid capacity from downstate New York will be considered within market-appropriate compensation ranges.
