Corporate Controller | 100% Remote | Nonprofit | $160K-$200K + Bonus

Our client, a nationally recognized nonprofit organization, is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to lead its accounting function and partner closely with executive leadership.

Location: 100% Remote (Preference for EST or Central Time candidates)
Compensation: $160K-$200K + Bonus

Key Responsibilities
• Lead all accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, financial reporting, and financial systems.
• Oversee the monthly and annual close process while ensuring timely, accurate financial statements.
• Manage the annual audit process and preparation of IRS Form 990.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, nonprofit accounting standards, internal controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with executive leadership to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making.
• Drive process improvements and optimize NetSuite functionality across the finance organization.
• Mentor, develop, and lead the accounting team while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Ideal Background
• 10+ years of accounting experience within a nonprofit organization.
• Previous Controller or senior accounting leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit accounting, GAAP, financial reporting, internal controls, and Form 990 preparation.
• Experience leading audits and working with external auditors.
• NetSuite ERP experience strongly preferred.
• CPA preferred.
• Proven ability to lead teams and partner with executive leadership.
