Due to an internal transition, the company is seeking a Corporate Controller to join its collaborative finance leadership team. This is a highly visible role reporting directly to the CFO, offering the opportunity to oversee corporate accounting operations while partnering with executive leadership on financial reporting, process improvements, and strategic initiatives.

The Corporate Controller will oversee the organization's accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, a timely month-end close, strong internal controls, and effective leadership of the accounting team. This position will serve as a key business partner to the CFO while helping maintain best-in-class accounting processes within a growing, sophisticated organization.
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process while ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Oversee general accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, and general ledger activities.
Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and significant accounting transactions.
Manage the annual external audit and coordinate with outside auditors and advisors.
Partner with tax leadership to support tax reporting, compliance, and required filings.
Oversee consolidated financial reporting and reporting packages for executive leadership and ownership.
Support relationships with lenders, investors, and external stakeholders.
Maintain and enhance accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Provide technical accounting guidance on complex transactions and new accounting standards.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while fostering a collaborative environment.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiencies through process improvements and automation initiatives.
Partner cross-functionally with finance and operations to support continued business growth.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
CPA strongly preferred.
6+ years of progressive accounting experience.
Public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) experience highly preferred.
Previous leadership or Accounting Manager experience.
Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and corporate accounting.
Experience managing audits, financial reporting, and month-end close.
Strong ERP system experience.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Highly organized with exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Professional presence with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
