This is a pivotal role that will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecast preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all facets of our organization's finance operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency in our financial practices. Responsibilities: As a Permanent Corporate Controller, your key responsibilities will include: 1. Overseeing all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition. 2. Coordinating and directing the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, reporting any variances. 3. Preparing and publishing timely monthly financial statements. 4. Ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting. 5. Managing and complying with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings. 6. Developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls. 7. Providing leadership in the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives. 8. Directing and managing company financial plans and budgets. 9. Ensuring the accurate and timely production of all financial information. 10. Evaluating and managing cash flow and cash management strategies. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Permanent Corporate Controller position should possess the following qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A Master's degree or CPA is highly desirable. 2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior finance or accounting role. 3. Proven experience with cash flow management, financials, monthly reporting, annual budgets, and financial statements. 4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation. 5. Exceptional computer skills, including proficiency with accounting software and experience with a software system implementation. 6. Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills. 7. Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skills, plus excellent organization skills. 8. Ability to work under pressure, plan personal workload effectively, and delegate. 9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present financial data to senior management, stakeholders, and external parties.
