Growing food manufacturer is hiring for a Corporate Controller! We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-onCorporate Controllerto lead all accounting operations for a fast-growing, private equity-backed consumer packaged goods (CPG) company. This role will be a key partner to the CFO and executive team, responsible for financial integrity, operational scalability, and supporting growth through acquisitions.
Financial Leadership & Close Process
- Own and lead themonthly, quarterly, and annual close processwith a focus on speed, accuracy, and scalability
- Oversee preparation ofconsolidated financial statementsin accordance with US GAAP
- Ensure timely and accuratemanagement and investor reporting
- Continuously improve close timelines (target: 35 business days)
Technical Accounting & Compliance
- Maintain compliance withUS GAAP, including revenue recognition, lease accounting, and inventory accounting
- Lead allexternal auditand tax coordination activities
- Establish and maintain stronginternal controls and accounting policies
- Ensure compliance with lender and PE sponsor reporting requirements
M&A & Integration
- Supportdue diligence effortsfor acquisitions (QoE, financial data, accounting policies)
- Leadpurchase accountingand opening balance sheet processes
- Ownpost-acquisition integration, including:
- Chart of accounts alignment
- Systems integration (ERP)
- Policy and process standardization
- Partner with leadership onscaling through acquisitions
Intercompany & Multi-Entity Accounting
- Managecomplex multi-entity structures, including consolidations and eliminations
- Overseeintercompany transactions, reconciliations, and transfer pricing considerations
- Ensure accuracy and transparency across all legal entities
CPG & Operational Accounting
- Overseeinventory and cost accounting, including standard costing and variance analysis
- Manage accounting for:
- Trade spend, deductions, rebates, and promotions
- Chargebacks and customer-specific pricing programs
- Partner with operations and commercial teams to improvemargin visibility by SKU, channel, and customer
Systems & Process Improvement
- Optimize and enhanceERP systems (NetSuite preferred)
- Lead or supportERP implementations, upgrades, or clean-ups
- Build scalable processes to support rapid growth and increased transaction volume
- Drive automation and reporting improvements
Team Leadership
- Lead and develop the accounting team (GL, AP, AR, Cost Accounting)
- Build ahigh-performing, scalable finance organization
- Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and business partnership

Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA certification
- 1015+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Experience inmulti-entity, mid-to-large scale organizations ($200M+ revenue)
- Strong knowledge ofUS GAAP and financial reporting
Preferred
- Background inBig 4 or national public accounting firm
- Experience in aprivate equity-backed or high-growth environment
- Direct experience withM&A transactions and post-deal integration
- Experience withNetSuite or similar ERP systems
