    Job Description

    We"re seeking a Corporate Counsel to be a pivotal force in shaping the future of cloud security at Amazon Web Services. In this role, you"ll collaborate with security teams, translating complex legal challenges into innovative solutions that protect and empower our global customers.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Provide comprehensive legal counsel on cloud security, and related transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters drawing on a comprehensive understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks to navigate complex and evolving requirements
    • Advise on emerging cybersecurity regulations around the world and shaping public policy strategy
    • Serve as a subject matter expert on security commitments in cloud enterprise agreements
    • Lead negotiations for technology, intellectual property and data licensing across inbound and outbound initiatives
    • Support the global security response team with nuanced legal perspectives, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving capabilities in ambiguous scenarios
