    Description

    Join Amazon"s Legal Department to provide strategic counsel for Amazon"s transportation and logistics services. You"ll draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements, advise on regulatory compliance and AI governance, and partner with cross-functional teams to enable responsible business growth. This role offers high visibility with senior leadership and the opportunity to shape legal frameworks for an innovative logistics service.

    Key job responsibilities

    • Draft, negotiate, and provide strategic counsel on complex service agreements with enterprise customers and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance
    • Advise senior executives on regulatory compliance, product development, data protection, security requirements, and public policy matters affecting transportation operations
    • Provide legal guidance on artificial intelligence applications, including confidentiality protocols, accuracy standards, and bias prevention measures
    • Manage legal issues in existing customer and partner relationships, including dispute resolution and contract interpretation
    • Partner with Sales, Product, Technology, and Operations teams to integrate legal risk assessment into strategic initiatives
    • Support legal team projects that advance Amazon"s logistics business objectives and operational excellence

    A day in the life

    Your day combines strategic advisory work with hands-on transactional execution. You might negotiate a multi-million dollar service agreement with a Fortune 500 client, advise the product team on compliance requirements for a new AI-powered feature, or collaborate with operations leaders to resolve a complex contractual issue. You"ll balance multiple priorities across business functions while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
