Credit Ratings OfficerOur client, a leading global financial institution, is seeking a Credit Ratings Officer to join its Corporate Ratings team. This individual will be responsible for analysing the creditworthiness of corporates across sectors, driving rating committee decisions, and engaging with senior stakeholders including issuers, investors, and internal leadership. This role is ideal for a credit professional with strong analytical depth, prior ratings agency experience, and a commercial mindset.Job DescriptionPerform in-depth fundamental credit analysis of corporate issuers across multiple industriesLead the preparation of credit memoranda, financial models, and rating recommendationsPresent and defend credit opinions in internal rating committeesMonitor portfolio credits proactively and update ratings as requiredConduct management meetings with CFOs, Treasurers, and other senior executivesPrepare published rating reports and maintain high-quality written analysisCollaborate with sector specialists, economists, and regional teamsStay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and sector dynamicsMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
