Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in the Finance Group. We are looking for an experienced level Corporate Development Specialist who will partner closely with leadership across the enterprise to facilitate execution of strategic initiatives through mergers/acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and select capital investments and commercial partnerships. This role will be involved in all stages of the transaction lifecycle, including but not limited to strategic planning, valuation, market research and analysis, due diligence, deal structuring, negotiation, execution, post-project review, and portfolio management. The ideal candidate will be a financial professional with experience in M&A transactions, including financial modeling, leading cross-functional due diligence teams, and other ad hoc analyses. The candidate must be self-motivated, inquisitive, detail-oriented, able to work independently, think strategically, and have excellent executive communication skills, both verbal and written.

Prior direct work experience with one or more of the following:
Participation in large-scale and complex business unit and enterprise projects
Building relationships and communicating with all levels of a large organization
Leading large cross-functional groups with conflicting priorities
Managing multiple projects simultaneously
Proficient with MS Office tools and advanced Excel functionality including financial modeling, data management, and complex formulas
Industry experience in energy, agriculture, or other commodities business
CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
