Description
- Develop and execute a multi-year EHS strategy with clear KPIs and performance tracking
- Champion a "Safety-First" culture through engagement, training, and leadership influence
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, DOT, and other regulatory standards
- Lead risk assessments, site audits, and hazard mitigation efforts
- Investigate incidents and near misses; implement corrective actions and prevention plans
- Partner cross-functionally with operations, HR, and leadership to drive results
- Design and deliver effective training programs and behavioral safety initiatives (BBS)
- Regularly visit sites to conduct walkthroughs and reinforce safety standards
Profile
- 7-10+ years of progressive EHS leadership experience in manufacturing or high-risk environments
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and regulatory compliance frameworks
- Proven ability to influence culture and drive change, not just enforce rules
- Experience leading multi-site safety programs and initiatives
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Bachelor's degree in Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field
- CSP, CIH, or similar certification preferred
Job Offer
- Base salary $100,000 - $120,000 depending on experience level
- 3 weeks PTO + 5 days sick time + 1 floating holiday
