Corporate Field Services Technician

Overview
The Corporate Field Services Technician provides in-person and remote technical support for Client's computer systems, software, hardware, and infrastructure at a facility in Corning, NY. This role focuses on resolving service requests and incidents, supporting Microsoft-based environments, and ensuring a high level of customer service.
The successful candidate will use internal training, technical knowledge, and sound judgment to diagnose, resolve, or appropriately route support requests while adhering to documented processes, service management principles, and team guidelines.

Core Responsibilities
• Provide technical assistance and support for hardware, software, operating systems, infrastructure, and end-user computing environments both onsite and remotely.
• Troubleshoot and support Active Directory, Microsoft 365 applications, OneDrive, SharePoint, Cisco VPN, Citrix connectivity, Symantec Endpoint Protection, printers, conference room technology, IP telephony, and related enterprise technologies.
• Perform device deployment, imaging, hardware ordering, asset management, equipment moves, software installation and configuration, and Smart Hands support activities.
• Utilize ServiceNow, knowledge bases, remote support tools, and deployment platforms to document, track, and resolve incidents and service requests.
• Coordinate customer scheduling, follow-ups, project activities, technical discussions, and cross-team collaboration while maintaining service levels and customer satisfaction.

Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Technologies
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of hardware experience beyond imaging and deployment activities.
• Minimum of 1 year of customer service or in-person technical support experience.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365 applications.
• Knowledge of Active Directory administration and enterprise end-user support processes.
• Familiarity with cloud applications including OneDrive, SharePoint, and Office 365.
• Experience troubleshooting or supporting technologies such as Cisco VPN, Citrix, Symantec Endpoint Protection, remote support tools, printers, and endpoint software.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 40 pounds.

• Associate's degree preferred.
• CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification.
• CompTIA A+ certification.
• CompTIA Cloud+ certification.
• CompTIA Mobility+ certification.
• CompTIA Network+ certification.
• CompTIA Server+ certification.

Work Details
• Location: Corning, NY.
• Possibility of extension based on business demand.
• Interview process consists of an initial phone screening followed by one onsite interview.
