Compensation

$310,000 – $390,000+

A premier global law firm is seeking a Corporate Finance Associate Attorney to join its New York office.

This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in representing private equity sponsors, financial institutions, public and private companies, investment funds, and corporate borrowers in sophisticated domestic and cross-border financing transactions.

Ideal Background

3–6 years of corporate finance, banking & finance, leveraged finance, or commercial lending experience gained at a sophisticated law firm

• Experience representing private equity sponsors, financial institutions, direct lenders, investment funds, multinational corporations, and corporate borrowers

• Experience handling acquisition financings, leveraged buyouts, syndicated lending, secured lending, refinancing transactions, recapitalizations, and other complex financing matters

• Experience drafting and negotiating credit agreements, commitment letters, security agreements, guarantees, collateral documents, intercreditor agreements, and related financing documentation

• Experience coordinating due diligence, transaction management, and complex domestic and cross-border financing transactions

• Familiarity with private credit, structured finance, fund finance, asset-based lending, project finance, or capital markets transactions is a plus

• Strong drafting, negotiation, analytical, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to independently manage sophisticated finance transactions while maintaining significant client interaction

• Excellent academic credentials

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school required

New York bar admission required or ability to become admitted
