A leading middle-market investment bank may seek a Corporate Finance & Deals Analyst to support clients in strategic financial planning, deal execution, and corporate transactions. This role combines rigorous financial modeling, market research, and corporate advisory responsibilities, giving candidates exposure to high-impact decisions across M&A, capital structure, and growth initiatives.
Build and maintain financial models (3-statement, DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution) to evaluate transactions and corporate strategies
Conduct corporate finance analysis, including capital structure optimization, funding strategies, and strategic planning
Support live M&A, capital markets, and restructuring engagements
Prepare pitch books, investment memoranda, and client presentations for strategic advisory and transaction support
Assist with due diligence, data room organization, and transaction execution
Conduct industry research, benchmarking, and valuation analyses to inform corporate decisions
Collaborate with senior bankers and deal teams to integrate financial insights with client strategy
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, or a related discipline
Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, with the ability to analyze corporate finance transactions
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication abilities
Ability to handle multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, client-focused environment
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Prior internship or full-time experience in investment banking, corporate finance, consulting, private equity, or FP&A is beneficial
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial research tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet)
