Corporate Governance Paralegal

LHH is partnering with a growing, full-service law firm with multiple offices throughout the Carolinas. The firm is seeking a Corporate Governance Paralegal to join its Raleigh office, supporting a collaborative and client-focused business law practice.

Responsibilities include:
  • Assisting attorneys with corporate and LLC formations and related filings
  • Preparing organizational documents, bylaws, operating agreements, shareholder agreements, and stock certificates
  • Managing foreign entity registrations and assumed name filings
  • Conducting research with the NC Secretary of State and applicable statutes
  • Drafting correspondence, agreements, closing documents, reports, opinion letters, affidavits, and other business or legal documents
  • Following up to ensure timely completion of all required actions
Qualifications:
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or 3-5 years of paralegal experience with an Associate's Degree from an ABA-approved Paralegal Technology Program
  • North Carolina Certified Paralegal (NCCP) preferred
  • NC Notary Public commission or ability to obtain one
